Our oldest child, The Boy™, was selected as this week's Student of the Week (sadly, no cash prizes or immunity to time-outs). Besides being the teacher's helper and leader of the group Students of the Week also get to bring in a parent to read the rest of the pre-school class a favorite book. I was had a blast reading Melinda Long's "Pirates Don't Change Diapers" while spending the morning with our son. So to further honor this, um, honor? we're going to have some of that good olde fashioned pirate music.

Also, I recently had this song as a personal earworm, so today's Song of the Day is all kinds of crazy goodness, me hearties! This is the the rest of the song that Robert Shaw's character, Quint, sang in Jaws.

"Fair well and adieu, you far Spanish ladies…"
