Those of us old enough to remember seeing "Smokey and the Bandit" in the movie theaters (and appreciating the subtle nuances of the comedy stylings of that wonderful pairing of Jerry Reed and Burt Reynolds along with love interest Sally Fields) will have a hard time going on a road trip without this song popping into our heads. Not the definitive road trip song, but it really should be on your road tripping playlist. What? You don't have a road tripping playlists? Why do I bother dropping these pearls of wisdom to such swine?
